About me.
Some people find their purpose in a single world. I have loved two: medicine and art.
I chose medicine out of a wish to ease suffering, and painting out of a need to bring light. Today, I carry both in my heart.

THE STORY BEHIND THE COLOURS
I am Mihaela Bozariu, a resident physician and visual artist.
I have drawn and painted since childhood. I joined painting camps and spent my free time drawing, reading and exploring the world through imagination. At the same time, I followed the path of medicine, driven by a sincere desire to help people and relieve suffering.
Medicine and art do not exclude one another; they complement each other. Through medicine I try to heal the body; through art I try to offer the soul a little light, calm and hope.
02 / TWO WORLDS, ONE STORY
Life has taken me down both paths.
Some experiences have profoundly changed how I see existence, time and what lies beyond the visible world.
Many of my questions — and perhaps many of my paintings — were born in those moments. Inner landscapes, silent spaces, clouds, light and symbols appear in my work, evoking hope, continuity and the unseen bonds that stay alive within us.
I believe art can become a bridge between what we live and what we lose, between the visible and what continues to exist within us even when we can no longer touch it.
Perhaps this is why, when I paint, time and space disappear. Only colour, emotion and a deep sense of inner freedom remain.

03 / MY VISION
My artistic philosophy.
In a world so often drawn toward pain, fear and darkness, I choose to paint beauty, hope, peace, light and joy.
I have seen enough suffering not to reproduce it in my paintings. I wish each canvas to become a place of stillness, where the viewer may remember what is beautiful and good within themselves.
If even one person finds a moment of peace in front of my work, I feel that what I do has meaning.

I am fascinated by the balance between sensitivity and structure. Certain works reveal my interest in architecture through clear lines, geometry, order, rhythm and visual harmony.
I like to build pictorial spaces in which emotion and precision coexist. Beauty, for me, is not only emotion, but also proportion, clarity and harmony.
05 / ARTISTIC JOURNEY
A dialogue with the world.
I returned to painting consistently and deeply in 2020. My artworks have since been presented in galleries and group exhibitions.
